United Way of Kenosha County Presents: Unify, Amplify, Give: Live UNITED Spectacular 

Kenosha, WI – October 17, 2024 – United Way of Kenosha County (UWKC) invites the community to an unforgettable evening of giving and celebration at the Live UNITED Spectacular on Saturday, November 9th, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM CST at Carthage College's Todd Wehr Center, located at 2001 Alford Park Dr, Kenosha, WI 53140. This event is proudly presented by Carthage College and Snap-on

Join us for a night filled with elegance and impact as we come together to support our community. Guests will enjoy an exciting lineup of entertainment, including music from DJMR262 and Top 100 Hits by The Rhode Performers. The evening will feature a silent auction with exclusive items, a delicious 3-course dinner, a chance to win a trip for two to Las Vegas, exciting giveaways, and more!

"This event is not just a fundraiser; it's a celebration of what we can achieve when we unite for a common cause," said Carolynn Friesch, Chief Executive Officer of United Way of Kenosha County. "We're excited to honor the dedication of our supporters and partners who have made a real difference in the lives of our neighbors." 

Throughout the evening, guests will hear inspiring stories of impact and witness firsthand the transformative power of collective action. We will proudly recognize our 2024 Legacy Award Winners, whose dedication to living UNITED is truly inspiring. Our awardees are as follows: 

Legacy of Giving Award: Nick Smith, Vice President of Operations for the South Wisconsin Patient Service Area of Aurora Health Care and former Board President of United Way of Kenosha County. 

Legacy of Caring Award: Miles & Jackie Hartley. Miles is an attorney at Guttormsen & Hartley, LLP and Jackie is the founder of Go Partner, LLP. Miles is a former member of the United Way of Kenosha County Board of Directors, and a long-time Readers Are Leaders tutor. Jackie is a long-time volunteer who recently led a book drive for the Readers Are Leaders program.  

Corporate Philanthropy Award: Johnson Financial Group. Since 1970, Johnson Financial Group has been committed to giving back to the communities where they live and work, with their long-standing support of United Way as a cornerstone. They match every employee contribution to United Way dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact and encouraging a spirit of generosity.
