Meet the new staff at United Way of Kenosha County: Carolynn, Jevon, and Marisa
United Way of Kenosha County said, "Goodbye" to longtime staff members Tara Panasewicz, Laurie McDonald, and Teri Gamble and, "Hello" to a new team with roots in service to Kenosha.
In May 2021, Carolynn Friesch was named Chief Executive Officer. Carolynn is an active member of the Kenosha community. She currently serves on the Boards of both Kenosha Area Family & Aging Services, Inc. (KAFASI) and Kenosha County Food Bank.
Jevon Claussen joined United Way in November as Director of Community Impact Operations. She has served the people of Kenosha County for over 23 years, with a diverse background that includes law enforcement, inmate advocacy, and public health. With a passion for outreach to those who are underserved, Jevon is a member of many community-based coalitions and groups that work to improve the lives of Kenosha residents.
Marisa Markowski joined United Way in October as Resource Development Manager. She is an ambitious marketing and communication professional the team from Kenosha Achievement Center. Marisa strives to be the Leslie Knope of our community — sweet tooth and all. If you need a recommendation for this season's coolest ice cream flavor her expertise just might come in handy.
