“Our goal is to ensure every child at Frank Elementary School has the essentials to stay warm and focus on learning, not the cold,” said Carolynn Friesch, CEO of United Way of Kenosha County.
Rachel Mall, Education and Community Impact Director at Kenosha YMCA, added, “The winter months can be especially tough for families, and this drive is an opportunity for the community to come together and make a tangible difference in the lives of these students.”
United Way of Kenosha County and the Kenosha YMAC are also excited to highlight the generosity of Aviana Winberg, a local student, who has pledged to donate coats from her recent coat drive held at the Doctors of Physical Therapy Holiday Basketball Classic. Aviana's commitment to supporting the community exemplifies the spirit of giving and aligns perfectly with the mission of this initiative.
