Building Unity in CommUNITY: Kenosha's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Educational Series
Kenosha's newest educational series, presented by United Way of Kenosha County in partnership with the Mahone Fund and Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce, provides a dynamic focus on building the necessary skills and knowledge to cultivate a diverse, inclusive, equitable and productive work environment.
The goal: to provide Kenosha County small businesses and nonprofits with a training resource that increases individual awareness and understanding of equity, diversity, inclusion, and unconscious bias, and ultimately, leads to more equitable workplaces for customers and employees.
The next installment of Building Unity in CommUNITY, taking place September 8-9, 2022, will focus on understanding and mitigating unconscious bias, dealing with microaggressions in society and the workplace, assessing the cost of systemic racism, and developing inclusive leadership competencies and strategies.
